Image Driven Magazine,

This was taken on route US route 130, today.  This logging truck is a familiar sight on Virginia's Byways.

The picture of the "Trucking Christmas" you are interested in was taken on the Blueridge Parkway near the intersection of State route 56 east.  It is a farm I pass often and one of the things I loved about the photo was the geometric lines of the planted trees and the red truck and red barrel that draws the eye.  When I took the picture I could imagine that red truck bringing Christmas trees to Lynchburg and other near by areas.  I also thought of the TV show the Walton's and how this Christmas tree farm was really not that far from Walton's Mountain and Crabtree Falls were the Walton's took their family vacations.

If you like I will try to get some pictures with trucking themes for you.  Or other themes that you may be interested .

If you would like a short bio of me:

I have been interested in photography all my life.  I have exhibited at the Musee de l'Elysee, the largest photography museum in the world which is located in Switzerland, and I have had my photo images exhibited in French galleries.

Recently one of my pictures appeared in JPG Photography magazine, a two page spread which was quite an honor.  http://www.jpgmag.com/issues/11 pages sixty and sixty one.

In the John Faber Memorial Photography contest I placed first in the Landscape Division.  http://www.smithmountainartscouncil.com/PhotoShowWinners.html
